Jeff Kroot Photo Gallery

Jeff was a member of the Marin AC in the 1960s & 70s.
He was a photographer of some of the most famous track meets in the Bay Area and the West Coast in the late 1960s.
Many of his photos appeared in Runners World and Track & Field News.
Jeff and his wife Tina live in San Anselmo where Jeff has his Architectural office and is currently on the San Anselmo Town Council.

(Ryun had just finished his sophomore year at Kansas)
1967 - 5,000 and 10,000 meter world record holder Ron Clarke, Australia, leading Kip Kieno.
Kip Kieno was the first world class Kenyan distance runner
May 1967 - Tommie Smith sets new world record in the 440 and 400 meters, San Jose State Track
